Lost Surfboards brand began in 1985 with now legendary Matt Biolos and a bunch of school friends that started up 'team lost' who would spend their time skateboarding upland at Pipleline and surfing in Dana Point.
Matt Biolos , was a relative unknown in Southern California just over twenty decades ago. His boards were constructed to supply the ordinary surfer with more sprint and stoke, and they rapidly gained popularity. Matt played a huge role in bringing these user-friendly high performance boards into the mainstream, and was named Surfer Magazine's Shaper of the Year in 2010.
