The SunDiego 2026 AM SLAM Finale Is Coming to Belmont Park Saturday, October 17!
The SunDiego AM SLAM Finale returns to Belmont Park in Mission Beach on Saturday, October 17 for a full day of surf, skate, live music, giveaways and more.
The AM SLAM gives local surfers and skaters of all ages the opportunity to compete, progress and showcase their skills alongside some of Southern California’s best up-and-coming talent.
This year’s finale brings the action back to Mission Beach with a surf contest, $4,000 skate prize purse, live music, 50+ event sponsors and a huge vendor village — all happening right at Belmont Park.
MUSIC + FESTIVAL
Admission for spectators is free, so come spend the day at the beach and catch all the action.
Along with the surf and skate contests, the AM SLAM Festival will feature games, giveaways and plenty of freebies from more than 50 participating brands throughout the vendor tent city.
The vendor area is expected to get underway around 11 AM, with the complete event schedule coming soon.
Roark will be bringing the music, with live performances throughout the day to keep the festival going between heats and skate sessions.

SURF CONTEST
The AM SLAM Surf Contest runs from 9 AM–4 PM and is open to surfers ready to put their skills to the test at one of San Diego’s most iconic beaches.
Space is limited and divisions can fill quickly, so don’t wait until event day to secure your spot.

Spots are limited and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
SKATE CONTEST
The AM SLAM Finale will also feature a $4,000 Best Trick Pro-Am Skate Event on a custom-built course. The skate contest is scheduled for 11 AM–4 PM, and helmets are required.
