The SunDiego 2025 AM SLAM Finale at Belmont Park Is This Sunday!

 

San Diego's premier Surf, Skate and Music + Festival will be going down at Belmont Park in Mission Beach This Sunday, October 26th! The Am Slam is the only amateur surf/skate/pro contest series in Southern California and is designed to give local surfers and skaters of all ages the opportunity to compete and excel.  This year will also showcase the Bones Love Milk Gravity Tour featuring the infamous Mega Ramp!

 

MUSIC + FESTIVAL

Spectators enter the event for free and this year's SunDiego Am Slam Finale is one that should not be missed! Come on out for some great surfing and skating along with plenty of games and freebies from the 50+ event sponsors at the giant tent city.

The vendor tent city opens shortly after at 11:00am. Roark will be providing the music entertainment for the day with Doll Riot and the Tijuana Panthers taking the stage at 12:00pm and 2:00pm respectively!  Everyone is encouraged to come down to Belmont Park in Mission Beach to witness some world class surfing and skateboarding right here in our own backyard!

SKATE CONTEST

There will be a $5,000 BEST TRICK Pro-Am Skate Event on a custom course from Keen Ramps!  The course this year is meant to replicate some of the best spots from Macba in Barcelona.  There will be one $1,250 winner for the best trick on each of the three obstacles plus the overall best performance of the day will also get a $1,250 check!  See a sneak-peek of the skate course below. 

Contest is only open to people who register the day of the event.  Registration will begin at 10:00 am and the contest will start promptly at 12:00 pm.

 

 

GRAVITY TOUR MEGA RAMP DEMO AND BEST TRICK CONTEST

The Bones Love Milk Gravity Tour will be joining Am Slam again this year for a Mega Ramp demo in the afternoon.  This invitation only event will feature top-notch pros who will definitely put on a great show for all to enjoy!  Demo time will start at 11:00 am and again at 2:00pm while the best trick contest will start at 3:00 pm.

 

SURF CONTEST

The surf contest is completely full and the excitement kicks off promptly at 9:00am with a full-day of ripping!  With 6 different divisions there will be a full-display of style and talent on hand.  Make sure to get your feet in the sand and watch some of the local talent while you're here!
