The contest features the Game Format which was created to provide a fun competitive landscape with a unique team format.
Teams from Carlsbad, La Jolla, Point Loma, San Dieguito, Torrey Pines and La Costa Canyon competed against one another in one division and San Marcos, Granite Hills, University City, Rancho Buena Vista, Cathedral Catholic and Canyon Crest Academy competed in the second division.
Cold, windy, and small 1-2 foot waves, the conditions could not have been worse for a contest. We even witnessed a wind surfer gearing up for what was his ideal day to shred...not so much guy. Every player made the best of it and tried their hardest to get some high scores for their team in each 12 minute period. Out of Division 1, San Dieguito ended up taking the win and Rancho Buena Vista took the win in Divison 2. Congrats to this year's winners! We hope to see your schools competing again next year.
