ABOUT THE EVENT
San Diego's premier Surf, Skate and Festival will be going down at Belmont Park in Mission Beach on Sunday, September 26th. The Sun Diego Am Slam Surf & Skate Series presented by Billabong, RVCA, Quiksilver and Roxy is our largest event of the year with over $10,000 up for grabs in the Pro-Am divisions. The Am Slam is the only amateur surf/skate contest series in Southern California and is designed to give local surfers and skaters of all ages the opportunity to compete and excel.
Over 30 of the Top Brands in the Surf & Skate industry will be represented at the last event! Brands like Billabong, RVCA, Quiksilver, Roxy, Vans, Volcom, Stance, Vuori, Vissla, O'Neill, Nixon, Roark, and many more will be there with tons of games, freebies, fun and excitement to add to the finale.
SURF
The surf portion of the event will host 6 different divisions for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels. There's $5,000 up for grabs in the Pro/Am division, and tons of prizes, trophies and bragging rights to be handed out to the rest of the field.

SKATE
There will be a $5,000 BEST TRICK Pro-Am Skate Event featuring a custom obstacle from Keen Ramps. See a sneak-peek of the skate course below!
You can pre-register here for the 2021 Sun Diego Am Slam Skate contest on September 26th. There will be 3 separate best trick contests featuring a customized bus obstacle from Keen Ramps for a total of $5,000 in cash! Mission Beach or Bussed is going to be insane, so make sure to register now!
*Due to the nature of the obstacle the Pro-Am division will be the only one available. Anyone can enter the contest, but is only recommended for advanced skill levels.

MUSIC + FESTIVAL

Spectators enter the event for free and this year's Sun Diego Am Slam Finale is one that should not be missed! We hope you'll join us for some great surfing, skating, beer, food and plenty of freebies from all our sponsors.
Clothing brand Roark will be providing the music entertainment with 2 bands (TBA) and a DJ. They will be playing on top of the Wonderbus, a functioning bus that serves as stage with a built-in sound system.
Surfing will kick the day off promptly at 8:00 am, and the vendor tent city starting shortly after around 10:00 am. Skating will kick off mid-day at 12:00pm. Everyone is encouraged to come down to Belmont Park in Mission Beach and witness world class surfing and skateboarding right here in our own backyard!
