What's your name. Danny Bernard. How long have you worked with Sun Diego? Just over a year and a half. What location do you work in? Solana Beach. What's your title? Heavyweight Champion of the World... Kidding, I'm a key holder. Surfing or skateboarding? Skateboarding. What are three of your favorite Sun Diego brands? Volcom, Brixton and Stance socks. Those three will have you set, on the daily. Favorite spot for lunch breaks? Since we're in a shopping plaza, there's no food courts or real hot spots. So, it depends. Do you want to feel like hating yourself? Then Panda Express. If not, then grabbing a sandwich from Sprouts is always a good choice. Music choice in the store? Mrs. Magician or Beach Fossils. Both of these bands have that surfer video sounding vibe and isn't the everyday cliche commercial stuff department stores are playing. Dream customer? Myself... Work / Sales strategy? Avoid selling, no one wants to talk to a robot or another Nordstrom employee. I genuinely do want to know about your day. Have to break that car salesman barrier and be yourself. What are you doing while not working at the store? I'll give you my day-off run down. Wake up with a Sevy coffee (7 Eleven), meet up with whoever at Enci (Poods) park to skate, grab a burrito after at Ortiz taco shop in Pacific Beach, then hangout the rest of the day 'till later plans are made. Three favorite spots in San Diego? Better Buzz coffee before skating the park in Encinitas, I like the whole environment of Little Italy and honestly just getting lost somewhere and getting to know more of San Diego. What's your most memorable Sun Diego moment? 100k last year. (Sun Diego's yearly employee celebration for those who manage 100K in sales) Nothing like everyone being away from the store and celebrating!
