Agenda Trade Show Recap

Agenda Trade Show Recap

Agenda Long Beach gave insiders a peek at products coming soon from a wealth of brands, across all categories, with items debuting now through spring 2016. Emerging brands mingled with industry giants on the floor, showcasing their lines for two days in the heart of the action sports capital. Snap the Gap obstacle, more on that later. The man in the water, Clark Little, took some time out from behind the lens capturing waves and turtles to hang out with fans on the show floor. Hurley and Clark are celebrating the release of his new collaborative products. Before any more browsing or meetings, everyone set up with a waffle, appropriately provided by Vans. Women's wears were on display, among the city of men's booths. Here's a preview of what's to come from Billabong, for the ladies. Retro silhouettes and prints are coming back in a big way. Let's get tropical! Colorful offerings from LMNADE California, on wheels. Men's styles seem to be headed in a colorful direction, as well. The star of the show was an unexpected one. Stance has made a departure from the world of socks! Feel Stance quality closer than ever. Check out the flurry of activity! Stance offers a number of fits and prints to satisfy their existing fun sock fans. In the other surprise department, the infamous Freaker and his product line were on the scene. On to more historical topics. Twenty-sixteen marks the fiftieth anniversary of Vans. The ultimate skate shoe innovator and arguably the most important "action-sports" brand of all time. They will naturally be offering a line of footwear saluting their heritage, since 1966. Retrospective aside, we are living in the future, with virtual reality and more new products to peek at. New Lakais will be hitting Sun Diego stores soon. These four (Alvarez, Staple redux, MJ and Riley Hawk) won't be available for a while, so you'll have to settle for this image and the Owen until then. Emerica has been on the revamping program from some time, bringing Higher Quality to their classic silhouettes. Pictured are the new Hsu G6 and some upcoming colorways of the Westgate. SoleTech's other big hitter, Etnies, keeps up the Marana and returns with updated takes on their classic staples. Adidas kept most of their upcoming lines under wraps, but running with the toe-cap trend, the Match Court is getting the skate makeover. Evan Smith's debut pro-model from DC is keeping on trend. This one has a really unique construction with useful hidden features in the sole, without giving up a basic shape and minimal lines. DC is also returning to much beloved classics, with new discreet technologies within. New Balance has a toe nail! This one is looking really solid, along with the rest of the NB# line. Element keeps things tidy and minimal in their footwear department. The Agenda show is rooted in skateboarding and surfing, although sometimes the plot seems to get lost in the commotion. Let us not forget the underground, where it all came from. Check the Snap the Gap post for photos and recap of the skating that went down off the show floor.
